2025 Year in Review
As 2025 nears its close, let’s take a look at some of my favorite Goto 10 highlights from the year.
The most exciting for me is that Goto 10 became a Substack Best Seller in the spring. Thank you so much to those of you that have subscribed, free or paid! I really appreciate it.
Top 5 Posts
The most popular post this year was Atari Means Business with the Mega ST. That post even got a comment from former Atari employee Bill Rehbock!
Next was my post about the Atari 1200XL Fiasco. People really were interested in that controversial 8-bit.
Not far behind are my posts about SubLogic Flight Simulator and Vibe Coding in BASIC.
I was surprised the Flight Simulator post was so popular. I guess I underestimated how many people really loved that game and its many versions on other platforms.
I was not surprised that the Vibe Coding post did well. AI continues to be all the rage in 2025 and vibe coding is a hot topic. I’m not a fan of vibe coding, but it was interesting to try doing it with Atari BASIC, even if I mostly found it annoying.
Rounding out the top 5 is my post about the Commodore Amiga. On the surface it might not seem like that is Atari-related at all, but the Amiga is actually incredibly related to Atari. Sadly, I still don’t have an Amiga of my own.
Wrap
I am pleased that I was able to publish a post every week in 2025. I feel that publishing regularly is one of the things that has helped Goto 10 grow so much these past three years. With 52 new posts in 2025, Goto 10 now has over 330 posts!
Thank you to everyone and anyone that read one of my posts in 2025. Bring on 2026!
