I recently picked up a few more games for my Atari 2600 and decided it was time to try getting it hooked back up again to test things out. The last time I had it hooked up was about 10 years ago, to a Sony 27” Trinitron CRT and it worked great back then.

But the Trinitron is in the basement and I don’t really have a place to set it up upstairs (and I certainly don’t want to move it — that thing is heavy!), so I decided to see if I could get the Atari hooked up to my LCD TV. Spoiler: I did. Read on to learn how I did it.
