While doing some cleaning, my wife came across the invoice for a 486 PC she purchased for college. As she recalled, this computer was replacing an out-of-date IBM PS/1 computer.

Instead of purchasing a pre-built PC, she went with a custom build, so let’s take a look a the part list and see what we can learn.
