Since it is summer, I tend to spend a fair amount of time outside reading instead of inside playing with my retro computers. One retro-themed book I’ve been re-reading is Hard Drive, a biography of Bill Gates and Microsoft.
This book was originally published in 1992, so it pre-dates how much bigger Microsoft would become after the releases of Windows 95 just a few years later. It was written by James Wallace and Jim Erickson, two writers for the Seattle Post-Intelligencer. I have the paperback edition, which was published in 1993 and that is about when I bought it.
