MAM, AIM and GLAD
I recently picked up some new magazines and newsletters on eBay, of which the most interesting was GLAD, the Great Lakes Atari Digest, a small newsletter that I had never heard of.
From my internet searches, I found just one mention of GLAD in an Atari Age forum post from 2016. As far as I can tell, none of its issues are available online.
GLAD had a price of only $1.50 an issue or $3.80 in 2024, which is about the cost of a Goto 10 monthly subscription. I’m just saying…
After reading through the 13 issues that I have, I learned about some of the history and controversy regarding Michigan Atari Magazine, GLAD and Atari Interface Magazine. Who knew there could be so much Atari drama from one state?
Eventually I will get the issues I have scanned and made available to everyone, but that could take a while.
