More About True BASIC

Now with manuals

I wrote about True BASIC about a year ago and overall I really liked the package. It was not all that fast, but it was pretty easy to use. In general, I also liked that it was a mostly cross-platform development tool.

However, I did lament that although the True BASIC folks still sell it for the Atari ST (only $19), there is no manual — only a short and mostly useless built-in help file.

Well, I now have the manuals (and the original diskette for v2.0)!
