Ode to Joust
Prepare to Joust!
One of my all-time favorite games is a strange bird-battle game. No, I’m not talking about Angry Birds, I’m talking about Joust the 1982 classic from Williams.
Joust has an incredibly strange premise. You control an ostrich (that can fly, natch). Perched on this ostrich is a rider carrying a javelin. Seriously, I have no idea how someone thought this up.
