I recently picked up a Commodore 128 (C128) and have it set up in a spare room to put it through its paces. After getting it all hooked up I went through my retro gear to see if I had any Commodore stuff and I was able to dig up some floppies and Compute’s Gazette magazines.

I also picked up an owner’s manual, the C128 System Guide.

Finally, the person I bought the C128 from contacted me a couple weeks later and offered up a some additional software they found for it, which I’ve been slowly testing out.

Here are some of my initial thoughts about some of the first things I’ve tried, including the system demo, GEOS and a couple games.
