Atari and cartridges, two things that go great together. Of course, everyone knows that the video game consoles use cartridges, but so did the Atari computers1.

The 8-bit computers in particular had a wide variety of cartridges available and more were introduced when the XE Game System came out in 1987.

However, Atari 8-bit game cartridges are not as easy to find as Atari 2600 cartridges and they often go for more money, usually in the $10 to $20 range for loose ones. Because of that, my cartridge collection has grown very slowly. Currently I now have have 17 game cartridges.
